Along with input from it's present owner we have undertaken a complete restoration of this beautiful 1962 series 1 3.8 E Type Jaguar DHC We have completely stripped / removed all parts / components from the car and labelled and stored away The shell has the undergone an acid dip process to take it back to a bare metal shell revealing many years of repair and abuse We have retained as much of the original as possible, but cut out and replaced all corroded areas and panels that we found necessary The body has been painted into it's original Jaguar gloss black as from factory We have carried out many up-grades whilst keeping the original classic look of the car, these include: A five speed Tremec T5 gearbox Coil over adjustable front shock absorbers High flow aluminium radiator with the original 3.8 fins (Fosseway Performance) 4 pot caliper aluminium brakes on vented discs (Fosseway Performance) The engine also has been fully race balanced the cylinder head has been gas flowed with larger exhaust valves A hand built stainless steel long branch manifold exhaust system This re-build is still in progress We will market this E Type for sale in the very near future
